Some days, gratitude feels distant.
Worries cloud my view.
Disappointments whisper louder than praise.
But even then, I choose to thank You.
Not because everything is easy
But because You are still good.
Still near.
Still present.
You haven’t left me in the valley.
You walk beside me,
And that is enough.
Thank You for the breath I didn’t notice.
For the tears You’ve counted.
For the strength to rise again.
Even when joy feels far,
Gratitude is still a choice.
A weapon against bitterness.
So I thank You in faith today.
I thank You for what I can’t yet see.
I thank You for healing on its way.
Teach me to find beauty in the in-between.
To notice light through cracked ceilings.
To cling to hope wrapped in thanks.
