Scripture Focus: Matthew 6:34
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Worry has a quiet way of sneaking in. It creeps into our thoughts in the early morning and lingers in our minds as we try to fall asleep. We worry about the unknown, the what-ifs, the things we cannot control. And yet, Jesus gently reminds us: “Do not worry.” That’s not because He’s ignoring our problems, but because He already holds tomorrow in His hands. Worry is often rooted in fear, fear that God may not come through, that we’ll miss something important, or that things will spiral beyond repair. But God’s Word calls us into a deeper trust, one rooted in His character and His promises. When we release our worries into God’s capable hands, we’re not giving up, we’re choosing peace over panic, faith over fear.
Releasing Worry in Faith
Letting go of worry isn’t about ignoring reality. It’s about inviting God into your reality and trusting that He’s working even when you can’t see the outcome. Here’s the truth: God’s provision is perfect. His timing is intentional. His love is unshakable. When we surrender our anxieties, we open our hearts to peace that surpasses all understanding, the kind of peace only Jesus gives.

Journaling Reflection
Take a moment to reflect and write:
- What are you worried about today?
- What would it look like to give that to God right now?
Speak These Affirmations Over Your Heart
- I trust God with what I cannot control.
- I release fear and receive His peace.
- God is already in my tomorrow.
- I am not alone in my worry. God walks with me.
- Each day, I choose faith over fear.
- I rest in the promise that God will provide.
Prayer
"God, I confess the worries that weigh down my heart. I bring You every fear, every anxious thought, and every unknown. Teach me to trust You more. Quiet the storm inside me with Your peace. I choose to rest in Your promises today. Amen."
You are not defined by your fears, you are held by the One who has already overcome them.
